Prone Press Ups
Below are three video progressions of an exercise called “Prone Press Ups” The higher you go the more extension you will get in your lumber spine. These exercises are used for a variety of reasons.
1. To help gain more lumbar extension range of motion.
2. To Decrease disc displacement.
3. Decrease radiculopathy or nerve pain in legs attributed to a bulging disc.
** You may feel pressure in your low back, but it should NOT be painful. You may also feel a stretch in your anterior trunk muscles.**
